1. The problem statement, all variables and given/known data
In a lab we are adding ascorbic acid (C6H8O6) to iron(III) to reduce it to iron(II). I need to come up with a chemical equation showing this. I do not know how to come up with products of the reaction besides iron(II).

2. The attempt at a solution
Fe(3+) + C6H8O6 => Fe(2+) + ?
