Thermal Contact in Ansys WB14
Trying to model a thermal contact between two faces. The plan is to get the heat flowing from the right part to the left part with a temperature BC on the right and convection on the left. At the moment the left part stays in the initial temperature so the contact obviously doesnt work.
I think the problem is because the nodes wont meet when travelling to normal direction from the plane. Any way to get the contact working? Cheers |

Actually the left part has the same temperature as the ambient temperature because of the convection.

Is the distance between the bodies bigger than the pinball region for the contact condition?
