Favorite Equation: Quadratic Formula - Solving for X

    Hmm, i have a few favourites, in order of their cognitive bias from greatest to least: a^2 + b^2 = c^2 e^{ix} = cos(x) + i sin(x) F(t) = \frac{1}{\sqrt{(2\pi)}}\int^{\infty}_{-\infty} e^{itx}f(x)dx and finally Maxwell's equations, which i don't fully remember or understand but when i do...

I think God must have been the greatest physicist, but since it wasn't an option ill vote Maxwell. o:) Newton was allways my hero when i was growing up, unfortunately i don't consider myself qualified to comment on anyone else's greatness because of the level of my physics understanding :)

What are the main reasons for having children in Western society?

Where is the "No children option?", Not everyone will think that we must reproduce and so it becomes "Why not?". The question should be "If you decided to have children, what would be your rational?". If i was to decide to have children, i think "innate" would most likely be the best...

Combustion Reactions: Answers to Your Questions

Personally i use the general rule for combustion that fire safety experts often tout, its the combustion triangle. There are three requirements for a combustion, Heat, Fuel and an Oxidiser. That's it, if you meet all three you can call it combustion provided its exothermic. I've not come across...

Computer Aided Drawing: Autocad/Desk vs Pro Engineer

Not used ProE, I have experience with AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor. What was your assignment? This is awsome, AI example: Solidworks: I don't have much solidworks experience, but i do believe its one of the most popular packages.
