well it depends what '3' is attached to. fluorocarbons are not ionicly bonded, but fluorine is commonly an anion. So both 3 and 4 could be anions, but it would depend what they are bonded with.- dmoravec

Since 3*k_b*T will be the same for both of the uranium isotopes you could ignore it and leave it as a variable 'A' or just completely remove it. Most pictures I have seen show the extra electrons flowing in the top layer (so n-on-p). If you think about it, the extra electrons in the n-doped silica are the ones that have to be excited, therefore they should be on top to receive maximal sunlight.- dmoravec

Is non-stick cookware releasing harmful toxins into our food and air?
Can't see that link while at work, but teflon is supposed to be stable to temperatures above 250degC. When actually cooking these temperatures are not reached, but if a pan were to get above that sort of temperature it can degrade and offgas.- dmoravec
