Understanding Demorgan's Theorem for Logic Gates
when using Demorgan's Theorem i didn't understand why it had to be used as logic gates AND or OR?. e.g. not x and y not x or not y in other words when facing a situation with 2 logic gates the same you make them the opposite of each other to get the answer?- hell18

Quadratic Function Q&A: Working w/ Numbers Below 10
thats it, yea I am still practicing the equations. i thought Y2 were that if you had Y = 5 then Y2. Then to find Y2 we multiply the 5 by in this case Y2 to get 25 as Y2 would be 25 then mutliply 3N2 by the 25 to get 75 + 4 to get 79 is that ok?:smile:- hell18

Quadratic Function Q&A: Working w/ Numbers Below 10
2 questions 1.can a quadratic function be just set to 1 number e.g. 5 or can it be a bigger number. at the moment I am working on numbers below 10 to get used to the formulas. 2. is this correct how i am doing it? formula N --> N2--> 3N2 + 4 e.g. N =5 5 x 5 = 25 = N2...- hell18

Schrodingers Equation in 3 space Dimension
i thought a vector was a small section of the whole. but i don't think that is the case. In the book it says a 3 dimensional space vector of x = x,y,z. So space is 3d? so time is a 1 dimensional element? add those together get 4d? but i thought we cannot see the 4th dimension? or am i missing...- hell18

Schrodingers Equation in 3 space Dimension
i read a book on quantium theory, it states that a vector of x = x,y,z. When i think about 3 dimensional space, we cannot see that, is that correct?- hell18

Can a fine mist of water extinguish oil fires?
There are certain types of flammable liquids which cannot be put out by water easily, i know of one, rocket fuel. but there are certain like components which make the fire worse? what are they? components which like when added with water make it worse.- hell18

What Are the True Dimensions of Time?
Time I believe time is a universal inverience, whereby time doesn't stop, you can't force time to stop. We can use time in mathematics e.g. measure time to reach a certain distance. Time can be precise if properly calculated. As far as Time travel, well its theorectical and that we cannot go...- hell18

Current theorys in fluid dynamics for jet propulsion
anyone know any theories being used for fluid dynamics? any formulas? I aint no physicist, I am just curious. Are there any developments today involving jet propulsion by going faster with only half the fuel? if that sounds right. any help would be appreciated- hell18

Newton's First Law of Motion & Skidding on Icy Roads
I've recently brought a physics book, and in it are some questions, which go throughout different chapters. at the moment i am on Newton's first law of motion. I looked at one of the questions on it and it asks " Explain how a car can skid on a icy road?" I remember reading in the...- hell18

Pythagoras Theorem: 32 + 42 = 52?
to work out a traingle side e.g. 52 is it we first times the 3 by itself to get 9 and then we times the 4 x 4 to get 16. then we take away the difference to get 52? 9 + 16 = 25 Formula 32 + 42 = 52 is this correct?- hell18
