Looking for advice on motors for a small windmill (for kids)
Hello everyone ! I speak about energy to a fifth grade class. I want to build small windmills made of paper cup for the blades. The goal is to light a LED when the windmill is running. I was looking for a small motor to do the alternator. I found this one and I wanted to know if it could fit...- hugo_faurand

How to make an audio processing device for noise reduction ?
Hello everyone !I am working on noise reduction and I wanted to do some experiments with an arduino. I took an arduino which get music (as an example) in input by jack. It also has a microphone and in a first try the goal is to get as an output the music - the noise around... To act like a kind...- hugo_faurand

Python Help with the Python package Scipy and the Z-transform please
Hello everyone ! I am working on ultrasound scan and the processing of the signal received by the probe. I made the model I wanted and as I do not have an ultrasound scan machine I want to simulate the signal processing. I will do that with the Python package Scipy and the function...- hugo_faurand

Amplifier for piezoelectric sensor, OP Amp circuit
Thanks for your answer. Actually, I only have little experience with opamp. I only know about classic circuit : inverter, derivator... About Bode plot, it's the same. I' plotted Bode diagrams for basic op-amp circuit : Gain Diagram and Phase diagram. Indeed, it's something like a school...- hugo_faurand

Amplifier for piezoelectric sensor, OP Amp circuit
Hello everyone ! I'm working with a piezoelectric cell and I need to retrieve the variation of the charge of the cell as a voltage signal. I found this circuit (a charge amplifier) with an OP Amp ( here the piezo cell is represented as the current source with the capacitor and the resistor on...- hugo_faurand

Get electrical signal of a piezoelectric with ultrasound
In a first approach there is no probe, just a system acting like transducer that you can find in probes, to analyze the electrical signal received. I'll work in the air in a first time and then in water. But my question is which component should I use to simulate the behaviour of the piezo...- hugo_faurand

Get electrical signal of a piezoelectric with ultrasound
I think I'll plug the ultrasound emitter on the oscilloscope also but I'm not particularly interested in measuring the ultrasonic sound wave. I'd like to use ultrasound wave with a frequency from 1 to 15 MHz ( these frequencies are used in ultrasound). About the accuracy I don't know what to...- hugo_faurand

Get electrical signal of a piezoelectric with ultrasound
Hello everyone ! I'm working on ultrasound probes, and I wanted to measure the electrical signal generated by a piezoelectric device (a transducer). Here is a sketch of the experiment : The goal of the experiment is to compare the electrical signal of the piezoelectric cell and compare it...- hugo_faurand

Undergrad Find Einstein's Field Equation - Intuition with Strong Equivalence Principle
Hello everyone ! I'm getting into General relativity. I wonder know how we find the Einstein's field equation. Maybe we can have an intuition with the strong equivalence principle. So if you can enlight me ☺️☺️ please Regards- hugo_faurand

[Mechanics] Calculate the braking torque
I made all the calculations with a radius of 53mm and I've a torque of almost 39 N.m and it needs 4laps to stop. Is it coherent ? (Otherwise spend good end of the year festivities !)- hugo_faurand

[Mechanics] Calculate the braking torque
That's right but we have no statement about the duration of the braking. So we can't determine the deceleration.- hugo_faurand

[Mechanics] Calculate the braking torque
Hello everyone ! I've got a problem in engineering class with a braking system (picture linked). In the first part I calculated the friction force $$ \vec{B} $$ with components : T (following y axis) : 2073.6N N (following x axis) : 5760N. For the first question I struggle a lot because I...- hugo_faurand

How to measure a quantity of grains for an instant coffee maker project?
Quite interesting. I've seen that point that granular media have a specific angle of repose. For the shape of the tank, according to what you said, do you think that it'll works with a shape of a funnel ? Also, how do you place place the auger ? Vertically or horizontally at the bottom of the...- hugo_faurand

How to measure a quantity of grains for an instant coffee maker project?
Sorry, I think I wasn't clear. The grains are not mixed, there are in two different tanks. So I don't really need to classify them.- hugo_faurand
