It simply means frequency is inversely proportional to time taken to complete one oscillation and proportionality constant is 1

Not everything is same iin chem and phy some differences are also there..

it is a bit of chemistry not physiics as the pressure increases the cohessive forces increases which in turn decreases the viscosity of liquuid as cohesive force doesn't slow water to flow easily among its own.
