High School Can gravitons be detected?
Is there any similarity between the bar detector and this experiment? Gravity modification experiment using a rotating superconducting disk and radio frequency fields Abstract An experiment is described which attempts to replicate the results of Podkletnov et al. concerning an alleged...- Josiah

High School Can gravitons be detected?
Hi I was just wondering if the bar detectors, are in any way related to this experiment. Spinning superconductors have been the subject of controversial "anti-gravity" claims, most notably by Eugene Podkletnov in the 1990s, who suggested rotating superconductors could reduce the weight of...- Josiah

High School Can gravitons be detected?
Hi, Apparently the bar detector for gravitational waves detects a single gravitational wave, thus could it be used to detect all the gravitational waves that pass through it?- Josiah

High School Can gravitons be detected?
Could you use that information to help come up with an idea of how to stop the gravitational wave? If the graviton is absorbed/ makes the electrons jump to a different level, does that mean it gets stopped?- Josiah

Is the fact that it detects gravitational waves, means that its also stopping it?- Josiah

High School Can gravitons be detected?
Hi Now that we know that Bar detectors for gravitational waves might detect gravitational waves, do you know if you could use that information to help stop gravitational waves?- Josiah

How effective is nuclear propulsion?
Hi I was wondering how fast a space shuttle could go, if it didn't have to first escape the earths gravity. As in if it had the rockets attached to it.- Josiah

High School Can gravitons be detected?
Hi, in reference to the article about a method of detecting gravitons, using the beryllium bar at absolute zero, the gravitons would get absorbed making the beryllium resonate as the result of gravitational waves. Hence would it be possible to block or stop gravitons?- Josiah
