Programs Master's in Engineering Without Engineering Undergrad
Thanks for responding. I think I've heard of one other person (on a forum, not even in real life) getting an EM master's without an engineering undergrad. I forgot to ask of that guy got a job afterwards... Project management is something I'd definitely be interested in, but I assumed there...- Mathos

Programs Master's in Engineering Without Engineering Undergrad
Hi, My undergrad degree is sort of nebulous; mostly math and physics, with some graduate math thrown in. I'm enrolled in UW Platteville's MS Engineering program for the Engineering Management emphasis. Although I'm impressed with the courses I've taken so far, I know that getting a job as a...- Mathos

Morehead State -- Space Systems Engineering MS
Yeah, it seems like a hybrid operations/design curriculum? but the facilities that they have seem pretty impressing. I think I'll do more research. Thanks for the reply.- Mathos

Morehead State -- Space Systems Engineering MS
Hi, I was just accepted to this program and was wondering if anyone has had any experience with it. It seems quite rigorous, but my main concern is that I know little of the school. The research looks quite interesting and I know that Kentucky is injecting large amounts of funding to the local...- Mathos

Theorem: If lim a n = A and lim b n = B, Then lim anbn = AB
Homework Statement Theorem. If lim a n = A and lim b n = B, then lim a n b n = AB. Homework Equations |an - A| < ε |bn - B| > ε The Attempt at a Solution I have the solution to this, but I'm unclear on why one part is done. Let ε > 0. Since bn converges it is...- Mathos

Continuity of Functions: Proving the Equivalence of Lim f(x) and Lim f(xn)
Homework Statement Theorem: Let f:[a, ∞)→ R. The following are equivalent. i) lim ƒ(x) = A as x→∞ ii) For all sequences {xn in [a,∞) with lim xn = ∞ we have lim f(xn) = A. Homework Equations For any ε > 0, |ƒ(x)-A| < ε if x < N The Attempt at a Solution I probably have this wrong, but I...- Mathos

Programs Build Your Own Degree: Seeking Help in Dire Straits
Due to a major setbacks involving illness, I missed out on my junior year. I simply don't have the funding to continue waiting to take the necessary classes and so at this point I just need any degree (lest these past four years be all for naught.) I have 130 credits, roughly 45-50 in math...- Mathos

Request for advice on how to catch up due to illness that kept me out of school
I was only out for a semester, but I missed junior E&M and mechanics. My school offers these courses in a two semester sequence at the same time, so I've effectively been set back by a year. I realize it's not the end of the world, but I would very much like to find equivalent courses at schools...- Mathos

Is the Graph of Lattice Spacing vs Inverse Square Root of Voltage Linear?
Homework Statement I'm just making sure I have the correct parameters for a linear graph. The experiment used a diffraction tube to verify deBroglie's hypothesis. The goal is to find the correct lattice spacings in graphite for d(10) and d(11). This might be lacking in pertinent information...- Mathos
