Equivalent capacitor in the circuit
I also want to know that can we use star to delta formation here as in this case applying of krichoff's law is easy , but what if all the value of capacitance is different ?- nik jain

Force on dielectric in parallel plate capicitor
I got it . It is the electrostatic force of attraction b/w the charges . One more question : Why its value remains constant as the distance(r) b/w the charges goes on decreasing and magnitude of force of attraction is inversely proportional to r^2 ?- nik jain

Equivalent capacitor in the circuit
Find the equivalent capacitance of the combinations shown in the fig. (refer to the file attached) Is there any easier method to solve instead of this method by assuming a constant potiential difference is applied across the circuit and a total charge Q flown in it.- nik jain

Particle Dynamics: Proving t(a) < t(b) for Two Masses Connected by a String
Yes Tension is not constant. Let the block moves a distance (x) . 1/2m[v(a)^2] = Tx (By energy conservation) 1/2m[v(a)^2] = mAx (A is the acceleration of block A) 1/2m[v(a)^2] = mv(a)(dv/dx)x integrating it v(a) = (2x)^1/2 again integrating it t(a) = (L/2)^1/2 How to get...- nik jain
