Graduate Drop a charge in a neutral black hole
No idea ? Even if you don't have a full answer, a qualitative argument would be interesting.- TeTeC

Graduate Drop a charge in a neutral black hole
Hello, What would happen if I sent an electron into a neutral black hole? Assume basic (undergraduate) knowledge about black holes. I have studied in some details the Reissner-Nordstrom solution including maximal extension using Kruskal coordinates. Thank you!- TeTeC

Graduate Incertitude relations from QFT
Hello, There are no incertitude relations in QFT. On the other hand, these incertainty relations do exist in non-relativistic QM. How can we reconcile these two facts ? Is it possible to "derive" uncertainty relations from QFT by "taking the non-relativistic limit" ? Thanks !- TeTeC

Music Guys next to my room just keep turning the music with loud bass
A friend of mine also has a big problem with noise. To eliminate high and low frequencies, he wears ear plugs and a headset for professionals. I've tried this combination, and it's quite impressive. When someone talks 2m from you, you can't hear a sound.- TeTeC

What Are the Best Recommendations for a European Itinerary?
Okay, for Belgium : In Brussels, three places come to my mind : - La Grand-Place de Bruxelles (Brussel's Great Place). Truly one of the best you'll ever see ! (but I'm belgian so my opinion is biased ;-)) - The Atomium. That's an obligatory stop. A vestige from the "Exposition Universelle" in...- TeTeC
