I recently posted something that actually shocked me about the math standards at US High Schools.

However, I came across a whole new approach that does a Bachelor's for free starting in year 11:

So is this just for a BS Math degree, or will they offer degrees in some other fields?
 
I'm not convinced of the value of such a degree.

Huh, you're right. I got my impression from the table of contents of bhobba's 2nd link in the Table of Contents:

Currently, about half of university freshmen struggle with coursework. These are former high school seniors. What makes the authors of this program feel that Juniors are as ready for university coursework?

What's the point of saving money for just one year? Even if the program is accredited and provides all kinds of majors including mathematics, it wouldn't be too helpful for students as it can only deduce one year of money in terms of college tuition. Many students just enter community college right after they graduate from high school in the US, although I don't know about other countries, as this is an effective way of saving college costs.
