What's New in the PF Username Game Part III?

It's been a while since I last did this, and we've had a bunch of new members sign up since, so let's have another round of the same, wot?

As usual, I refer the newcomers to earlier rounds of this game:

HOW THE GAME WORKS:

I make up cryptic clues, the answers to which are the usernames of different PF members. If you think you've got the answer, post it, along with the explanation. Sometimes, the answer may not be the complete username. For instance, I might refer to Greg Bernhardt simply as Greg.

Here's a very simple example:

i. Cosmic bomb
Answer = Astronuc [cosmic -> astro; bomb -> nuke -> nuc][/color]

And here's an incredibly difficult one:
ii. 10² Joule back
Answer = Greg [1 Joule = 10⁷ erg => 100 J = 10⁹ erg = 1 Giga erg -> Gerg; turn it "back" to get Greg][/color]

Most clues will be intermediate in difficulty compared the the above examples. Typical styles of crypticity include anagrams, hidden clues, common abbreviations, Roman numerals, use of synonyms & homophones, an occasional speck of trivia, etc.

Oops! Sorry, Woolie! Of course, his user name is an anagram of his real name. Molar with a "W" fell out pretty easily.

I'm not sure that Cyprus is the only country with a map on its flag, but when you take away its "p" you get that guy from Maryland.

That leaves only 18, which is pretty difficult and requires esoteric knowledge of Sanskrit. From this point on, feel free to make up your own clues and post them for others to solve. If doing so, make sure you number them correctly so as to make referencing and compiling less messy.
