AI Thread Summary
For a last-year electrical engineering student looking to publish a technically innovative project with a strong theoretical and mathematical foundation, the primary step is to consult with a research advisor. The advisor can assess the project's originality and relevance to the field, guiding the student on its publishability. They will also provide insights on preparing the paper and identifying suitable publication venues. Engaging with an advisor is crucial for navigating the publication process effectively.

Talk to your research adviser. They can help you decide if your paper is publishable, and if so, how to prepare it and where to send it.

As eri has mentioned, this is something that you must discuss with your advisor. He/she should know the state of knowledge of the field involved, and can easily tell you if your project is "new enough" that it should be published, and where to publish such a thing.

Hey, I am Andreas from Germany. I am currently 35 years old and I want to relearn math and physics. This is not one of these regular questions when it comes to this matter. So... I am very realistic about it. I know that there are severe contraints when it comes to selfstudy compared to a regular school and/or university (structure, peers, teachers, learning groups, tests, access to papers and so on) . I will never get a job in this field and I will never be taken serious by "real"...
