SUMMARY

The discussion centers on the need for open source 3D magnetic field simulation software capable of handling multiple magnetic fields and calculating their resultant. Elmer, an open source software for multiphysical simulations, is suggested as a potential solution. Users can access Elmer through its official website at http://www.csc.fi/english/pages/elmer. This tool is particularly noted for its versatility in simulating complex physical phenomena, including magnetic fields.

PREREQUISITES
  • Understanding of 3D simulation concepts
  • Familiarity with magnetic field theory
  • Basic knowledge of open source software usage
  • Experience with multiphysical simulation tools
NEXT STEPS
  • Explore Elmer's documentation for installation and usage guidelines
  • Research advanced features of Elmer for magnetic field simulations
  • Learn about other open source alternatives like OpenFOAM for magnetic field analysis
  • Investigate methods for visualizing magnetic field results in software like ParaView
USEFUL FOR

Researchers, physicists, and engineers involved in magnetic field analysis and simulation, as well as developers looking for open source solutions for complex multiphysical simulations.

Hi Everyone,

Can anyone tell me an "open source 3D MAGNETIC FIELD SIMULATION SOFTWARE", which can add more than 3 magnetic fields and then give their resultant magnetic field...

Any help will be appreciable.

Regards,
hsn
