SUMMARY

A recent analysis indicates that only one in three new college graduates secure employment, primarily due to an oversupply of graduates and a sluggish economy. A survey conducted among 200 recent graduates from a specific institution revealed that 80 graduates are currently employed, equating to 40% employment. At a significance level of 0.03, statistical testing is necessary to determine if the proportion of employed graduates from this school exceeds the national average of one in three.

PREREQUISITES

 A recent article reported that a job awaits only one in three new college graduates. The major reasons given were an overabundance of college graduates and a weak economy. A survey of 200 recent graduates from your school revealed that 80 of them had jobs. At the 0.03 significance level, can we conclude the larger proportion of recent graduates of your school who have jobs is greater than on in three?

i very want to know the answer quickly...thank you very much

One fact that is required is the total number of recent graduates from the school. For example if it is 200, then exactly 40% have jobs!
