I would say the whole field is pretty active.

Quantum computing
The interpretational debate has no end in sight
Quantum gravity
 
There are also all the applied quantum mechanics topics, especially quantum information, electronic structure theory and other the topics in theoretical solid state physics and quantum chemistry/molecular physics/optical physics. These ones are still as alive as on the first day.
