It turns out that AI Go is so incomprehensible to Go fans that no one watches it.

When DeepMind released the 50 AlphaGo vs AlphaGo games in 2017, the Go world was ecstatic. But that enthusiasm didn't last long. Soon, professional players realized they were watching an alien species play a game that barely resembled Go anymore.Fast forward to today, and the biggest AI Go Championships barely get 100 views.
