Android: Delivered & Read Messages

The discussion revolves around the implications of message statuses on an Android phone after a contentious text exchange. The user notes that messages sent to "Dave" show a "Read" tag with a timestamp for earlier communications, but recent messages post-argument only display a "Delivered" tag. This raises questions about whether Dave has blocked the user, read the messages without responding, or simply previewed them without opening. The user speculates that the absence of the "Read" tag could indicate that Dave either saw something in the preview he didn't want to address or is intentionally avoiding the conversation. There is curiosity about whether the "Read" tag can fail to appear even if a message has been read, drawing a comparison to email read receipts in Outlook, where recipients can choose not to send read confirmations.

Might this be someone who either blocked me or didn't read my latest message on Android phone?

I texted a person we'll call Dave (not his real name). There is a "Read" tag next to these messages with a time-stamp. Pretty nifty of Android to let me know when it was read.

However, we had a contentious exchange via text and I asked him tough questions (that he is dodging I am guessing) and he never responded (for several days). Those texts have a "Delivered" tag, but not the "Read" tag as with the earlier ones (pre-argument).

For those familiar with this phone OS, what could this mean? My guesses were:
a.) He got the texts, but didn't click on them (possibly seeing in the preview something he didn't want to talk about).
b.) He blocked me.
c.) He got the texts, read them, but just doesn't want to respond.

c.) seems unlikely, given other texts have said "Read". . .Does the "Read" tag ever just randomly not show even if someone read your text?

I have no idea about android, but in windows outlook when a sender includes a "tell me when read" request, outlook asks you whether you want the sender to see if the email has been read and you can say no.

After playing around a bit with making star maps, I found another video which introduced me to another trick that can be done using geometry nodes. This one involves fluids. For background, Blender has a fluid physics simulator, which, as the name suggests simulates the behavior of fluids. What this person did was to use geometry nodes to convert the fluid into a point cloud. Then he added a turbulence force field to "stir it around". He was then able to extract the velocity information...
