Hi. I'm currently reading papers about ion traps. There are several concepts that I'm not familiar with, such as rf trap, interactions between pulses and ions, Rabi frequency, resonant excitation of internal transition, Lamb-Dicke parameter, Raman scattering and so on.

From any courses or textbooks, I can learn those concepts? I guess quantum optics is one of them. Or should I track back through references in the papers?

Courses on electrodynamics can cover some of that and the basics for the rest, quantum optics will probably be based on that and cover the rest.
