Homework Statement

2ur1clv.jpg

Which of the following are true statements about the above molecule ?

a) The bond between carbon and nitrogen should be the strongest bond in the molecule

b) The C-C bond should be the strongest bond in the molecule

c) The C=O bond is more polar than the C-C bond

d) The C=C bond is more polar than any of the C-H bonds

Homework Equations

No equations are required.

The Attempt at a Solution

Attempt:
a - True, since the bond between carbon and nitrogen is triple bonded.
b - False, only single bonded
c - True - Even distribution?
d - False - Uneven distribution?

Thank you, please help me clarify my answer. I made attempts yet I am not sure. :)

I have no idea what you mean "even distribution."

The answer to this question may depend upon the structure which is not available (blocked/deleted link).
