In my mechanics class there was only 1 chinese kid. He was smart, but he was also a dick. In general I have found asians to be no smarter than anyone else.

It isn't too difficult to see why asians seem to succeed so much.

There are 1 billion Indians and 1.8 billion Chinese and they form the most no. of students coming to the US. If you take a percentage, it is likely that the difference between the percentage of bright asian students and the percentage of bright students of other countries isn't all that high.
