Best Resources for Beginner Java Studying: eBook Recommendations

I need to study Java from the beginning.Can someone please tell me that what is the best ebook or the other resource for a begginer.
I do not need to create interfaces using netbeans or something else. All I want is to make mathematical programmes.

I learned Java (a while ago) using the Sun tutorial:
