I think she's onto something there.Evo said:I know that guy!
The Evo Child has decided that I am too much trouble and told me to get married. She said I need someone that can keep me from getting hurt, take me to the ER, and take care of me when I get hurt. I told her that there is no one that crazy.
I'm in a lot of pain, btw. Typing really hurts, so I should do less.![]()

They are freak accidents. Well, both were caused by negligence of the apartments where I live. The yard in the back is not properly graded and there are holes where the ground has sunken since the dirt was placed. The other is a broken water pipe under the drive leading into the apartments which is between me and my mailbox. Most people drive up and get their mail, they failed to put in a sidewalk which means you have to walk in the drive. Due to the water pooling across the drive from curb to curb for so long, grass cuttings have decayed and turned into a layer of slime under the water, which you can't see until you've fallen and are laying in it.GeorginaS said:Good heavens, Evo. Have you had your inner ear checked for balance issues?
:!)binzing said:Why don't we just all pitch in and buy her way into a crazy house? Free food, nice safe boarding, etc.
russ_watters said:Padded rooms? Is that safe enough enough? We'll need to be careful about what items we allow her to have in those rooms with her.

Evo, do I have that right? Wow, what a string of bad luck. Hope things heal up reasonably soon!

Evo said:Yeah, at the emergency room they always take you away from the person you are with and ask if there is any abuse. I told them, just from my cat.
Too funny. I'd get one but I would crash it and get hurt.cristo said:I was expecting the worst when you posted in this thread again, but it's good to hear you've not broken anything recently. Congrats on the new job. That certainly sounds like a handy setup you've got there: it sounds like a little town!
!It's good that it's a nice walk to the nearest "eatery". I tend to bring my own food and heat it up in the nearby breakroom though.Moonbear said:Ditto!Sounds like the work campus is set up like a university campus, including the 10 min walk to food.
(Actually, there's a cafeteria in my building that only takes me 5 min to get to...big building...but the food in the close cafeteria isn't that good.)
Is that safe?Evo said:It's good that it's a nice walk to the nearest "eatery". I tend to bring my own food and heat it up in the nearby breakroom though.
How far to the doctors office? Have you introduced yourself - just in case? And if I fall, I can take a Segway to the doctor's office.![]()
Stay away from the breakroom Evo. I think this thread should be locked. Everytime it bubbles to the top, I think you've broken your arm yet again.Evo said:I tend to bring my own food and heat it up in the nearby breakroom though.
