Discussion Overview

The discussion revolves around recommendations for books on artificial photosynthesis, exploring various resources that cover the topic from different interdisciplinary perspectives. The scope includes theoretical and practical aspects of artificial photosynthesis, as well as its relevance to sustainable energy technologies.

Discussion Character

  • Exploratory, Technical explanation

Main Points Raised

  • One participant recommends "From Molecules to Materials: Pathways to Artificial Photosynthesis," highlighting its focus on the transformation of sunlight into chemical fuel and its relevance to sustainable energy challenges.
  • Another suggestion is "Artificial Photosynthesis," edited by Bruno Robert, which is noted for its comprehensive reviews on various topics in plant sciences, including aspects related to artificial photosynthesis.
  • A third recommendation is "Artificial Photosynthesis: From Basic Biology to Industrial Application" by Anthony F. Collings and Christa Critchley, although no specific details about its content are provided.
  • One participant questions whether others have conducted a Google search for resources and mentions a Wikipedia page that may contain references, including free PDFs, but expresses uncertainty about the quality of the information.

Areas of Agreement / Disagreement

Participants generally agree on the need for book recommendations on artificial photosynthesis, but there is no consensus on the best resources, and some uncertainty exists regarding the reliability of alternative sources like Wikipedia.

Contextual Notes

Some recommendations depend on the participants' interpretations of the relevance and quality of the suggested books, and the mention of external sources introduces uncertainty about the completeness and accuracy of the information available.

Did you do a google search on this?

There is wiki page but I do not know how good the information is.

A lot of references at the bottom of it including a couple of free PDFs.
