AI Thread Summary
Energy can be transferred between bodies in the same form, such as light energy, which remains as light when transmitted. Light energy, emitted from hot bodies, can be absorbed by other materials, converting to heat or being reflected. In cases like optical fibers, light energy is effectively transferred without changing form. Thermal energy can also be transferred through conduction or convection, maintaining its nature. Overall, energy can indeed be transferred in the same form between different bodies.

Suppose some energy, say light energy transfers from one body to another .. Then will the light energy transferred to the second body also be in the form of light energy?
I mean are there any chances that the energy transferred between two different bodies be of same kind of energy? If yes, please explain with an example. Thank you in advance!

Sure, thermal energy by conduction or convection.

In case of mechanical and thermal energy I should say yes.
Light, as your example, generally borns when a body was very hot and the molecules are excited and then it emitts an electromagnetic wave, in this case light.
The visible light transports both energy and momentum; it may be absorbed by another body as heat or it may be reflexed.
In transparent bodies like optical fibers the light is in a "tramp" and it travels trough: in this way I should say that light is transferred in the same form of energy.

comparing a flat solar panel of area 2π r² and a hemisphere of the same area, the hemispherical solar panel would only occupy the area π r² of while the flat panel would occupy an entire 2π r² of land. wouldn't the hemispherical version have the same area of panel exposed to the sun, occupy less land space and can therefore increase the number of panels one land can have fitted? this would increase the power output proportionally as well. when I searched it up I wasn't satisfied with...
