Undergrad Can I Simulate Planetary Accretion with Disksim?

Click For Summary
The discussion centers on the search for free or open-source planetary accretion models, specifically for simulating solar system formation and evolution. The user initially struggled to find suitable options but discovered a potential solution in a simulator called Disksim. There is an expressed interest in planetary geochemistry as well, though the primary focus remains on accretion models. The user plans to test Disksim to see if it meets their needs. Overall, the thread highlights the quest for accessible tools in planetary science simulation.

Hi - having come up blank when searching, I figured I'd ask here: do you know of any (free, preferably open source) planetary accretion models/simulators available for download? I'm primarily looking for solar system formation / evolution rather than planetary geochemistry (although I'd have an interest in the latter as well :) ).

Thanks!

Hmm, think I found one: disksim. Will give it a shot :)
