How to do it for a digit watch with 4 buttons? Is there some general rules? Unfortunately, I lost the manual.
The discussion revolves around how to turn off the alarm on a 4-button digital watch without the manual. Participants share their experiences, suggestions, and frustrations regarding the complexity of digital watch controls and the need for instruction manuals.
Participants generally agree that digital watches can be overly complicated and that many require a manual to operate fully. However, there is no consensus on a specific method to turn off the alarm, as various suggestions and experiences are shared without a definitive solution.
Participants note the variability in button functions across different watch brands and models, highlighting that assumptions about button configurations may not apply universally. Some responses are based on personal experiences rather than established guidelines.

Proton Soup said:i do. i like my watch to be a watch, my phone to be a phone, my car to be a car, etc. if something needs more functions, the interface should be pretty intuitive, like, 'hit any button to stop alarm'. the more complexity technology adds to your life, the less it qualifies as technology, imo.

Typically, you hold down the bottom right button and push the bottom left button or vice versa. Or you push the mode button (usually bottom left) to get to the alarm set screen, then push the top right button to cycle through the alarm and chime modes.
