AI Thread Summary
Microsoft Word can be used to generate mathematical notations with LaTeX, but users often find it confusing due to the differences in formatting. While LaTeX is typically used in a document preparation system, tools like TeXnicCenter can convert LaTeX documents into PDF format for printing. Additionally, users can incorporate explanatory text alongside their mathematical expressions. For those seeking a more integrated solution within Word, MathType is recommended; it adds a toolbar that facilitates the insertion of various scientific notations, enhancing the user experience and making it easier to create complex documents.
