I do not know how to execute the problem with the 2x in the problem.

Evaluate the integral:

[tex] <br /> \int_{-4}^{4} (x^2+2x+1) \delta(2x) dx <br /> [/tex]

Simplest way would be to change variables. Write 2x = y, and you know what integral over [tex]\delta(y)[/tex] gives right?
