SUMMARY

This discussion centers on locating diagrams and handwritten notes related to Paul Dirac's 1972 talk on Projective Geometry in Quantum Mechanics. Participants share links to the talk's transcript, including a PDF version available at atomicprecision.com, and discuss difficulties accessing certain URLs. Notably, a workaround for a problematic URL is provided, along with references to additional resources, such as Peter Galison's article titled "The Suppressed Drawing: Paul Dirac's Hidden Geometry." The community expresses gratitude for shared insights and assistance in finding these materials.

PREREQUISITES
  • Understanding of Projective Geometry principles
  • Familiarity with quantum mechanics concepts
  • Basic knowledge of academic research methods
  • Experience navigating online academic repositories
NEXT STEPS
  • Access the PDF transcript of Dirac's talk on Projective Geometry at atomicprecision.com
  • Explore the handwritten notes linked in the discussion for additional diagrams
  • Read Peter Galison's article "The Suppressed Drawing: Paul Dirac's Hidden Geometry" for deeper insights
  • Investigate the FSU repository for further resources on Dirac's work
USEFUL FOR

Researchers, physicists, and students interested in the intersection of projective geometry and quantum mechanics, as well as those seeking historical context on Paul Dirac's contributions to the field.

TL;DR
Missing diagrams in this talk.
Where can I find the diagrams mentioned in the transcript of this talk?
Thanks.

What about the talk itself? Where can one find it?

I am reading the transcript of the talk in the pdf mentioned above.
A few days ago I found online a copy of handwritten notes (by the great Dirac himself or perhaps by Hart) where there were some diagrams mentioned in the transcript. But unfortunately I did not save these handwritten notes!
I tried to search again for these handwritten notes but I did not succeed to locate them.
Any help in this direction is well appreciated.
Thanks.

I think these are the notes. They look sketchy, but there are a few diagrams.
I was forbidden to enter the given url.
Thanks anyway.

The use of the colon in the originally-given url is odd:
https://repository.lib.fsu.edu/islandora/object/fsu:195

Try: repository.lib.fsu.edu/islandora/object/fsu%3A195
The page offers this "Permalink" http://purl.flvc.org/fcla/dt/2051959
