Hi, guys, i am struggling to figure out the answer of below question, please give your suggestions. thanks!
Given Cantilever Beam 1 and Beam 2, the right ends are free, no constraint to put them two together. When no force acting on, they will stay together; while when there is pressure difference, what will happen? Are they still keeping together with only the right end slipped? Or the 2 beam are totally separated? How can I get an accurate mathematical model of the problem?

What kind of forces are we talking here? In the drawing in looks like the upward and downward forces are equal. In which case there will be no movement of said structure.
