Hi PF! i stumbled here through google and i must say i kind of like it here. well, a bit more about me then :-p I'm a non-educated wannabe engineer who is really into science and technology. I'm sure my stay here will be an educating one. i currently live and work in scotland but originated from sweden. anyhow, if you wonder anything don't hesitate to ask :biggrin:

Your description sounds very similar to mine, except that I suspect that you're about 25-30 years younger.
This is definitely the best place to learn about and discuss science. The moderation is superb, so anyone trying to teach you crap will be shut down before damage can set in.
