Free/GNU/Open Source programming language for Windows GUI

Hello everyone,

Can anyone suggest me a suitable GUI programming language for windows (like Microsoft VB or anything else). The software should be free of cost. It also should not restrict me to publish my product as freeware/open source. (Additionally the software should be able to handle windows API and produce native executable)
