They express a long-held desire to wear glasses, believing they enhance their appearance and make them seem less intimidating to peers. The conversation shifts to playful banter about the attractiveness of glasses, with others chiming in on personal experiences and preferences regarding eyewear. There are humorous suggestions about hairstyles and outfits that could complement glasses, as well as light-hearted remarks about body piercings and hair color changes. The user also expresses concerns about the potential negative effects of wearing glasses on vision, which prompts reassurance from others that proper use of glasses does not harm eyesight. The thread concludes with discussions about personal style and the excitement of sharing photos of the new glasses.

I also recently got a pair of glasses. I was thinking about posting a pick, just to show you how bad it can get. But this is your thread and I don't want to scare anyone off.

The signs—both large and small—of the reversal in the flow of aspiration are everywhere. Recently, a member of the royal family, a granddaughter of the queen, had a metal stud inserted into her tongue and proudly displayed it to the press. Such body piercing began as a strictly underclass fashion, though it has spread widely to the popular culture industry—into a branch of which, of course, the monarchy is fast being transformed.

Middle-class girls now consider it chic to sport a tattoo—another underclass fashion, as a visit to any British prison will swiftly establish. The idea that a girl should have herself tattooed would have horrified the middle classes as recently as ten years ago. But young middle-class women now proudly wear tattoos as badges of antinomian defiance, of intellectual independence, and of identification with the supposedly downtrodden—if not of the entire world, then at least of our inner cities.

You need to cut lines in your sideburns so the arms have a place to rest.

oh right... why didn't i think of that  i don't think that'll happen though... for some reason i can't ever seen to grow very much facial hair. i had a skimpy mustache once, but it wasn't quite as attractive as i could've hoped... :-p I guess you're going to be the only one with cleverly shaven sideburns. You should take a picture. That sounds hot.

Going strictly by your avatar, I always thought that you already wore glasses. (And I still say that you have beady eyes.) Never figured out why you're on roller-skates, though.

Call me old-fashioned, but I really like piercings, tattoos, etc. on women.:-p (Any others that I–in a strictly professional capacity–should know about? )

Don't worry; you're young yet. It'll come in soon enough. (Sooner, if you're Italian.)

I hope that doesn't happen. The last thing we need now is a bearded Gale running around scaring all the children. :-p

You probably weren't watering it enough. When I grew my beard, I found that watering it twice a day really helped it grow in full and thick.

You are in luck madam. I recently decided to lose the old face sweater due to popular request from the internet babes. I kept the shavings though, so if you like I could send them to you. I guess you could like glue it to your face or something. I think in some cultures that's as good as growing your own beard.

internet babes eh?? i never told you to shave... you mean... there's someone else! or worse elses! Oh brad... i feel so put out. But then... i can have the shavings eh? hrmm. That sounds kinda hot... brad hairs... mmm... i could like, glue them close to my lips, so whenever i need some sexy, i can just lick a little bit of brad... I'm sure i'd look pretty hot too.

Funny you should mention that because it reminds me of an intersting story. Actually it's not so much interesting as it is long. Anyway, it all started when I wanted to go to this costume party, but I didn't have a costume. Luckily, the maintenance man in my apartment complex had a spare shower, so I went as that somehow. But then I kept pissing off the toughest kid in school and tried to steal his exgirlfriend. This kid also happened to be the local All-Valley under 18 karate champion. I got my butt kicked a ton of times; once on the beach, once on my bike, once by a rogue gang of skeletons, and once on the soccer field. Anyway, eventually I learned how to truly love and became king of the Morlocks.

The point of the story is, that if you need more hair, I could shave some chest hair for you too.

Speaking of glasses... now when I'm not wearing mine, my eyes tend to hurt... is that normal?

Ok, but now it's my turn to ask a question. Do you know a catcher that played at least 15 years in the AL, and spent his entire career with the same team? That's the only spot I'm missing between my two All-Franchise teams.
