My favourite was done by the English satirist Chris Morris where he took Bush's address to congress (i think it was that or something similar) and spliced it a bit or quite a lot. It can be found on Smokehammer web page but be warned it is severe satire.

Dont think i seen that 1. Is it the "Sunday Bloody Sunday" 1? I heard they got a record deal for that song 6 hours after it was posted on the net. Not sure if that was just a load of BS though. The cartoons on jibjab are really funny 2. "This land" is so good. "I won three purple hearts". I have no idea what purple hearts are but anyway

Chris Morris did TV programs like The Day Today and Brass Eye and is generally regarded as one of the best satirists in the past 2 decades. If you search for "smokehammer" you'll find the site. Its just a bit of simple sound clip editing used to great effect.

Then you should: http://www.purpleheart.org/student-information-about-medal.html?E=(EmailID)&S=2296946

The PURPLE HEART is awarded to members of the armed forces of the U.S. who are wounded by an instrument of war in the hands of the enemy and posthumously to the next of kin in the name of those who are killed in action or die of wounds received in action. It is specifically a combat decoration.

You can also leave your prediction here. Here are the predictions of 2024 that did not make it: Peter Shor, David Deutsch and all the rest of the quantum computing community (various sources) Pablo Jarrillo Herrero, Allan McDonald and Rafi Bistritzer for magic angle in twisted graphene (various sources) Christoph...
