I am looking for a Book in which Solitons and Skyrmions are easy explained.
I want to understand them for Solid State Physics.

For soliton physics I would recommend "www.amazon.com/Physics-Solitons-Thierry-Dauxois/dp/0521143608"[/URL], it covers solitons from many areas (biology, optics, Bose-Einstein condensates etc.)
