Hello and a question about our universe.... Hello. I'm new to this forum, and I've been reading lots of interesting stuff in this forum, especially under this Cosmology Heading, which is where my main interest lies. On another thread Janus said, "The observable universe is just that part of the universe for which light has had time to reach us since the Big Bang, it does not represent what we would consider the entire universe." This is just one sentence out of a paragraph, and I want to make sure nobody thinks I am taking what he said out of context. That sentence has helped me understand the following: Our observable universe lies within the unobservable universe? Is this a safe conclusion?
