Calculators Help TI-84 CONICS App is Giving Trig Formulas

Click For Summary
The TI-84 CONICS app is incorrectly displaying circle equations in trigonometric form instead of the standard algebraic format. Users are seeking a solution to revert to the traditional formulas, such as (x-h)² + (y-k)² = r². A suggested fix is to access the MODE settings and ensure that FUNC is highlighted. This adjustment may resolve the issue and restore the expected output format. Proper configuration of the calculator settings is essential for accurate mathematical representations.

TI-84 HELP!
The formulas under the CONICS app keeps converting into trig... It saying a circle is
x=rcos(T) + H instead of (x-h)^2 + (y-k)^2 = r^2
How do I get the 'normal' formulas back?
PLEASE HELP!

Try hitting MODE, and make sure that FUNC is highlighted?

Thread 'ChatGPT Examples, Good and Bad'
I've been experimenting with ChatGPT. Some results are good, some very very bad. I think examples can help expose the properties of this AI. Maybe you can post some of your favorite examples and tell us what they reveal about the properties of this AI. (I had problems with copy/paste of text and formatting, so I'm posting my examples as screen shots. That is a promising start. :smile: But then I provided values V=1, R1=1, R2=2, R3=3 and asked for the value of I. At first, it said...
