The issue involves a TI89 Titanium calculator not being recognized by the "IT DeviceExplorer" software on a computer, despite having the necessary drivers installed. The user hears a connection sound when plugging in the data cable, indicating that the computer detects the device at a basic level. However, the software fails to recognize the calculator. A potential solution suggests ensuring that the device is connected to the same USB port used during the initial driver installation, as this can affect driver functionality on Windows systems.

Hello, good morning.
Please. Can anyone help me. I am connecting the cable to transfer data from the computer TI89 Titanium and opening the "IT DeviceExplorer" and the computer is not showing the calculator (not recognizing this).
I have already installed the drivers on the computer calculator.
But. The program "IT DeviceExplorer" not see the calculator.

Does the data cable messed up?

When I connect the data cable to the computer.
Windows makes a "noise" indicating that it was connected / plugged into a device.
But does not appear in "TI DeviceExplorer".
What should I do?
thank you

Are you plugging the device into the same USB port it was plugged into when you first installed the drivers? I know that sometimes on Windows computers I've had a problem where I installed the drivers, but they only worked if the device was plugged into the same port it was originally.

Maybe you can post some of your favorite examples and tell us what they reveal about the properties of this AI. (I had problems with copy/paste of text and formatting, so I'm posting my examples as screen shots. That is a promising start. But then I provided values V=1, R1=1, R2=2, R3=3 and asked for the value of I. At first, it said...
