Hello

I am trying to use lyx word processor to write up scientific reports. Am currently a little frustrated as I am finding it hard to get to grips with all the functions ie I often can''t get it to what I want!

Can any suggest any resources that may cover all that one might need in writing up a scientific report?

(by the way, I have already found a very helpful tutorial at )

LaTeX will be helpful (I think Lyx is somewhat based on LaTeX, but I've tried them and found LaTeX easier to use).
