SUMMARY

The discussion focuses on mastering differential equations (D.E) for self-study, particularly addressing the challenges faced by students with limited resources. Key examples include the equations *dy/dx - y/x = 2lnx and *dy/dx - ytanx = 1 - (x + 5)tanx, both of which can be solved using integrating factors. Participants emphasize the importance of having adequate resources and knowledge to tackle these equations effectively. The conversation highlights the need for structured learning materials to aid in understanding differential equations.

PREREQUISITES
  • Basic understanding of differential equations
  • Familiarity with integrating factors
  • Knowledge of logarithmic functions
  • Access to self-study materials or textbooks on differential equations
NEXT STEPS
  • Research methods for solving differential equations using integrating factors
  • Study the properties and applications of logarithmic functions in differential equations
  • Explore online resources or textbooks specifically focused on differential equations
  • Practice solving various types of differential equations to build proficiency
USEFUL FOR

Students pursuing mathematics, particularly those enrolled in BSED-math programs, educators seeking to enhance their teaching methods in differential equations, and anyone interested in self-studying advanced mathematical concepts.

1) 7 integrable combination and the function of w/c they are exact differentiate

2) *dy/dx-y/x = 2lnx

3) *dy/dx-ytanx = 1-(x+5)tanx

I have no idea what you mean in the first case, as for the other two I'm pretty sure they can both be solved by an integrating factor.

ahh i c...but i always find difficulty on the D.E( differential equation) because i don't have enough ree. / books.. actually a I am a poor students w/c don't have enough knowledge about thid topic. BSED-math is my course but unfortunately my subject in D.E is modular( self study). we don't have a class session, they only given us an assignment. that's why i always encountered some difficulty in this topic.
