SUMMARY

The forum discussion revolves around a playful 4-variable IQ test that categorizes individuals based on their interpersonal, visual, verbal, and mathematical thinking styles. Participants share their scores, revealing that many score significantly high in mathematical thinking, often exceeding 200%. The test is not a measure of intelligence but rather an indication of personal preferences in thinking styles. Key advice includes avoiding relationships where interpersonal or verbal scores differ significantly, highlighting the importance of compatibility in these areas.

PREREQUISITES
  • Understanding of interpersonal, visual, verbal, and mathematical thinking styles.
  • Familiarity with the concept of personality assessments and their implications.
  • Basic knowledge of statistical scoring and percentage comparisons.
  • Awareness of how personality traits can affect relationships.
NEXT STEPS
  • Research personality assessments like the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI).
  • Explore the implications of cognitive styles on interpersonal relationships.
  • Learn about Henri Poincaré and his contributions to visual mathematics.
  • Investigate the role of emotional intelligence in personal and professional relationships.
USEFUL FOR

This discussion is beneficial for psychologists, relationship counselors, educators, and anyone interested in understanding cognitive styles and their impact on interpersonal dynamics.

Odd. I'd have thought that I'd be incredibly average with those percentages. I'd like some more mathematical sense though. ;)

I don't think it's so bad. I got something similar & now want to read up on poincare because he seems to be the mathematician I resemble most. apparently he was a very "visual" mathematican also. up to this point I've always liked hilbert most & sort of overlooked poincare.

edit: check it out
-- His normal work habit was to solve a problem completely in his head, then commit the completed problem to paper...
-- His ability to visualise what he heard proved particularly useful when he attended lectures since his eyesight was so poor that he could not see properly what his lecturers were writing on the blackboard

You scored higher than 0% on interpersonal
You scored higher than 6% on visual
You scored higher than 16% on verbal
You scored higher than 99% on mathematical

It's no wonder I can't get a date. :(
Why don't you try finding somebody that is more like you? That's usually a good way of doing things.
