I would round-off AFTER I get the final result for the power of ten.

BTW, your final answer is incorrect.

120x1019 = (1.20x102)x1019 = ___ ?
 
haha what was I thinking jeez being out of school for a year and a half is killing me I can't wait to begin commerce in august.
