How Long Does It Take to Study Marine Biology?

Click For Summary
Studying marine biology typically requires a significant time investment, with a Bachelor of Science in biology taking about four years, followed by a PhD in marine biology, which can take around six years. This totals approximately eleven years of education. Resources such as the Q&A from the Scripps Institution of Oceanography provide additional insights into pursuing a career in this field. Additionally, engaging with multimedia content, like underwater drone footage, can enhance understanding and interest in marine biology.

Ummm. It depends? If you get a B.S. in bio (4 years), then do a marine biology PhD at somewhere like Scripps marine institute (6ish years?) then 11ish years total.

Where are you at in your education?

Here is a short Q&A

TL;DR: Jackson or Zangwill for Electrodynamics? Hi, I want to learn ultrafast optics and I am interested in condensed matter physics, ie using ultrafast optics in condensed matter systems. However, before I get onto ultrafast optics I need to improve my electrodynamics knowledge. Should I study Jackson or Zangwill for Electrodynamics? My level at the moment is Griffiths. Given my interest in ultrafast optics in condensed matter, I am not sure which book is better suited for me. If...
