Homework Statement

The position of a particle as a function of time is given by
r(t) = i(1 - e^-kt ) + je^kt
where k is a positive constant. Find the velocity and acceleration of the particle. Sketch its trajectory.

Homework Equations



v (t) = dr/dt
a(t) = dv/dt

The Attempt at a Solution



based on my opinion we can use cartesian coordinat system and than "e" is constant
