Homework Statement


A trapezoidal mass concrete retaining wall 6m high,1.5m wide at the top and 3m at the base retains water to its full height. calculate the hydrostatic thrust on the retaining wall and a factor of safety against oveerturning. take the density of water to be 1000kg/m3 and the weight of the concrete to be 24KN/m3
