Seems to me i do this more and more often, the result is given two options neither win, which can be both annoying and boring.
Do you have inner battles what tips the balance?

Yes. I have debates with myself all the time, where i come to look for the best conclusion, if that's what you mean. Often, I have "debates" with the book I'm reading as well. I think, "in context x, is what this guy is saying true?" "What about this scenario?" "Is this even accurate?" Unfortunately, this often distracts from the reading.

I often have a battle with how to go about learning a new subject. I'm still trying to find that balanced method, but maybe I'll never find one. I don't know.
