Ireland for theoretical physics [bachelor]

SUMMARY

The discussion centers on the choice between Maynooth University’s Department of Mathematical Physics and Trinity College Dublin’s Undergraduate Moderatorship in Theoretical Physics. Key points include the lack of applied research centers at Maynooth compared to Trinity's School of Physics, which offers the Institute of Physics (IOP) resources. Additionally, the financial comparison of €11,500 at Maynooth versus €21,000 at Trinity, excluding living costs, raises questions about the value of applying early to Trinity by February 1st versus waiting for Maynooth's July 1st deadline.

PREREQUISITES
  • Understanding of theoretical physics and mathematical physics concepts
  • Familiarity with academic program structures in higher education
  • Knowledge of application processes for undergraduate programs in Ireland
  • Awareness of financial considerations in higher education, including tuition fees
NEXT STEPS
  • Research the curriculum differences between Maynooth University and Trinity College Dublin in theoretical physics
  • Explore the resources and opportunities provided by the Institute of Physics at Trinity College
  • Investigate the financial aid options available for students at both universities
  • Examine the application timelines and requirements for undergraduate physics programs in Ireland
USEFUL FOR

Prospective undergraduate students in theoretical physics, academic advisors, and individuals evaluating higher education options in Ireland.

I'm between
Maynooth University Department of Mathematical Physics
and
Trinity College Dublin Undergraduate Moderatorship in Theoretical Physics

Tell me, how it works when this study program
https://www.maynoothuniversity.ie/m...formation/theoretical-physics-and-mathematics
has nothing to do with applied research centers they have at Maynooth when in Trinity's School of Physics there is IOP at hand?

Then tell me is it right to correlate 11500eyros vs 21000eyros (without living costs, accommodation, etc.) per academic year and, to the end, is it worth to run for the 1st February application deadline in Trinity or to wait until Maynooth 1st of July?

I need to cover-up all this, talk widely and reformulate my awesome questions if it badly needs it for the sake of truth and timing.

For now I'm desperately interested in academic program analysis from mathematician and physicist viewpoints.
