Is 293 m/s² Acceleration Equal to 30 G's?

This isn't homework but I'd like to varify something. What is the G force exerted on an object if it has a constant acceleration of 293m/s/s?can someone also give me the equation to find out g force. 10.5 Gs just doesn't sound right.

One g = 9.8 m/s^2. So 293 m/s^2 is about 30 g's.
